Emily Sopo | Myzone Master Trainer

Emily began her fitness career teaching group fitness classes while completing her undergraduate degree. What started as a side job quickly became Emily’s full-time passion, and she fully immersed herself in the fitness industry as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer, fitness manager, and -now- Myzone Master Trainer. In 2015, Emily graduated with a Master of Science in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, with a focus on exercise physiology and fitness from Long Beach State University (LBSU).

Emily was first introduced to Myzone in 2013 at the LifeFit Center @ The Beach, a health and fitness facility and educational laboratory on the campus of LBSU. She found that the feedback she received from her belt became such an integral part of her workouts that she even wrote her graduate thesis on aspects of the Myzone system. She loves that Myzone is valuable for individual feedback and for working with individual clients or with large groups.

Emily is a certified personal trainer through NASM and a group fitness instructor through AFAA. In addition to her role with Myzone, Emily is the founder of Heartmybody Fitness and is a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at OLYMPIX Fitness in Long Beach, California.
