Garmin x Myzone Challenge FAQs

The challenge runs from: 

1 August – 31 August 2026 

Everyone who completes the challenge will be entered into a prize draw to win:

Garmin Forerunner® 970 (worth over £600)

To join the challenge: 

• Open the Myzone App
• Connect your Garmin watch through Myzone Go
• Complete workouts and earn MEPs throughout August
• Earn 2,000 MEPs between 1–31 August to be entered into the prize draw 

Yes.  Garmin integration is available through Myzone Go, so you’ll need an active Myzone Go subscription to participate in the 2000 MEPs challenge.

If you don’t already have Myzone Go, you’ll be prompted to activate your free trial when connecting your Garmin watch. 

THERE IS NO PURCHASE NECESSARY for the Prize Draw. 18+ and age of majority. Open to legal residents of the UK and 49 U.S. states plus DC (Rhode Island and U.S. territories excluded), and any additional territories listed in the Official Rules. The length of your free trial depends on whether your Myzone account is connected to a Myzone gym or club.

If you are a member of a Myzone gym or club:

You’ll receive a 30-day free trial of Myzone Go.

To receive this, make sure your Myzone account is connected to your gym or club using their Facility Code before activating your trial.

If you are not connected to a Myzone gym or club:

You’ll receive a 14-day free trial of Myzone Go.

After your free trial ends, you can continue using Myzone Go by on a paid subscription plan. 

Unless cancelled before the trial ends, Myzone Go automatically renews through the applicable app store at GBP 5.99 or USD 6.99 per month, subject to the price, taxes, billing cycle, cancellation method, and other terms displayed by Apple App Store or Google Play at purchase. The 14 day trial does not necessarily cover the full 31-day Challenge Period. A subscription is not required to enter the Prize Draw. Free online entry is available here.

The Prize Draw is open only to residents of the United Kingdom: England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, and the United States: the 49 states other than Rhode Island, plus the District of Columbia.

Yes.

If you already have Myzone Go, simply connect your Garmin watch through the Myzone App and you can start participating.

You must have a Garmin device connected in the Myzone app throughout the duration of the challenge to qualify for the prize draw.  

No.

With Myzone Go, you can connect to Myzone using your existing Garmin smartwatch instead of a Myzone device. 

Yes.

The Garmin x Myzone Challenge is available to eligible Myzone users using Myzone Go, whether you train at a Myzone facility or use Myzone independently.

You will need an active Myzone Go subscription to participate. 

To connect your Garmin:

• Open the Myzone App
• Go to your device connections 
• Select Garmin
• Follow the connection instructions

The Myzone x Garmin Challenge is available for compatible Garmin smartwatches that support Garmin integration with Myzone.

Once you connect a Garmin device, you will receive a challenge invite via email, in-app notification, and push notification. You must accept this invite to participate in the challenge.

No.

Once your Garmin watch is connected through Myzone Go, all MEPs earned through your Myzone account will count towards the challenge, including MEPs earned through your Myzone device.

Yes.

Once your Garmin watch is connected through Myzone Go, you can continue using your Myzone device.

All MEPs earned will contribute towards your challenge progress. 

No. You can only connect one smart watch to Myzone at a time.  If you already have a smartwatch connected, you must disconnect it before adding Garmin.  

Any MEPs earned from August 1st will count towards the challenge, even if they are earned before you connected your Garmin. 

Once you reach 2,000 MEPs, you will have completed the challenge and will be entered into the prize draw.

You can continue earning MEPs throughout the challenge period to track your progress and stay motivated. 

Yes.

You can join at any point during the challenge period.

However, you will need to earn 2,000 MEPs between joining and 31 August to be entered into the prize draw. 

No.

There is no limit to the number of members who can take part. 

If your MEPs are not appearing, check the following:

• Your Garmin watch is connected correctly in the Myzone App
• Your Garmin activity has synced successfully
• You are using the latest version of the Myzone App

You will remain in the challenge but will not be entered into the prize draw.   

Only MEPs earned during the challenge period (1 August – 31 August 2026) after the challenge has launched will count towards your challenge goal. 

The winner will be announced around the 10th September 2026.

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible challenge participants.

The winner selection process will be managed by Myzone.
