Myzone has been a game changer for us

Our elite level gyms cater for the mass market with a wide range of fitness classes and extensive functional and combat space. As an MMA athlete you push yourself hard to get the best from every training session. But when it comes to the public, most people don’t exercise efficiently; they need more insight into how they are working out. We were early adopters of Myzone because it gives people that insight.

As a PT, I train a number of high profile individuals and Myzone gives me a window into their activity. It makes them accountable. I can see if my clients have hit the targets I’ve set them. If not, we both know that they are falling short of the agreement we have made.

Myzone has been a game changer for us and we are big fans of the technology, which is why we were one of the first operators to take up MZ-Remote.

A face to face workout in a virtual setting

I firmly believe that if you give something back to your community you are rewarded. Our gyms have been closed since the beginning of lockdown, so we have been running a timetable of free classes since then. This has helped people to buy into the Underground Gym concept and will hopefully result in new members when we reopen.

MZ-Remote has allowed members to stay connected to each other during lockdown. They can see how everyone else is performing in the class, which means they get the same motivation, enjoyment and competition from their sessions, while working out remotely. It’s a face to face workout in a virtual setting.

No more interrupted workouts

When we reopen our clubs, we will have to cut some of the classes we run on site because the social distancing measures mean we can't physically host the number of people needed to make them financially viable. That is where MZ-Remote will really add value. It will allow us to have up to 100 people in one session working out from the comfort of their own home, while being coached by an instructor. Going forward it means our members can exercise wherever they are - even if they go on holiday or travel with work. They'll never have to interrupt their workouts again.

MZ-Remote is key to our new on-demand service

We are developing an on-demand subscription service, which we will gift to people for the first 30 days. After that they will have to pay for the service, which will give them access to two MZ-Remote sessions a week, live stream classes as well as loads of other content.

This service is something we need to offer to succeed after lockdown. As a business owner, it’s crucial that we constantly evolve. We want to be on the curve if not ahead of the curve, and Myzone and now MZ-Remote will help us do that.
