Update time! Your Myzone training app needs you
by Ben Hackney-Williams on Thursday, 21 September 2023
As we continuously strive to enhance your experience and bring you the latest innovations, there comes a time when we need to wave goodbye to older versions of Myzone’s free training app.
If you're still using one of our earlier Myzone training app versions, it's time to embark on a fresh journey with us.
Dive into a world of new features, improved security, and seamless interactions by updating your app today. Whether you're training with a heart rate monitor in the gym, outdoors, or at home, you deserve the best tools on your fitness journey.
Starting October 6, 2023, Myzone will no longer support versions earlier than Version 3.
This means that if you are using a version of the app that is older than V3 (released in January 2022), the app may not function correctly and will not be supported by our team.
Will my workout data and MEPs be lost when I update?
Nope! Your workout data and MEP count is safe, and you’ll even get a few new features to check out within the Myzone free training app. The change is driven by our commitment to delivering the best possible experience to you as part of the Myzone community.
By discontinuing support for older versions, we can focus our resources on developing even more of the good stuff to help your workouts, while also enhancing security measures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient app experience for you.
Action required: Head to your app store
To continue enjoying uninterrupted service and to benefit from the latest improvements, please follow these steps to update your app:
1. Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Search for "Myzone" and locate the latest version available.
3. Tap on "Update" or "Install" to initiate the update.
If you have automatic updates enabled, your app may update automatically without your intervention. To check your app version, tap the battery icon at the top of your home page.
Your app version will be displayed at the bottom of the following screen. If in doubt and you're given the option to update, we always recommend keeping the Myzone app up to date.
Our support team is here to help
We understand that change can be challenging, and we’re here to support you throughout this process if you need any help.
If you encounter any issues or have questions about updating your app, please don't hesitate to reach out to our dedicated support team by visiting https://myzonesupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us and clicking the “Help” icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
We're here to assist you every step of the way.
We will be discontinuing support for older versions of the app from October 6, 2023.
Thank you for being a valued member of the Myzone community.
