Myzone Unveils Strength Tracking, Garmin Integration and Switch 2.0 at HFA Show
by Myzone on Wednesday, 18 March 2026
Myzone today unveiled three major product innovations at the HFA Show in San Diego, introducing Strength Tracking, Garmin integration and Switch 2.0 as part of its expanding Motivation Technology (MoTech) ecosystem.
The announcements were revealed to more than 150 guests at the Myzone HFA Breakfast, signalling Myzone’s continued evolution beyond heart rate monitoring into a broader fitness ecosystem focused on motivation, engagement and consistency.
The three innovations, all launching in 2026, expand how Myzone recognises effort, connects with wearable technology and supports gyms and fitness operators in driving member engagement.

For the first time, Myzone will introduce Strength Tracking, expanding its effort-based approach beyond cardio. The feature will recognise and reward strength-based training, allowing members to earn effort points during strength-based workouts and bringing Myzone’s gamified engagement model to more types of exercise.

Myzone also announced a Garmin integration, allowing Garmin smartwatch users to connect their workouts directly to the Myzone ecosystem via Myzone Go. This significantly expands accessibility, enabling more users to benefit from Myzone’s effort-based tracking and community features without requiring a dedicated heart rate belt.
Myzone will also launch Switch 2.0, the next generation of its interchangeable wearable device. Designed to improve comfort, durability, accuracy and usability, Switch 2.0 allows users to wear their device on the chest, arm or wrist while maintaining the accuracy and engagement features Myzone is known for.
Together, the innovations reinforce Myzone’s focus on Motivation Technology (MoTech), a category centred on helping people stay consistent with exercise through effort-based tracking, gamification and community engagement.
Jay Worthy, CEO of Myzone, says: “These innovations represent the next step in expanding the Myzone ecosystem. We’re recognising more types of effort, connecting with more wearable technology and making our platform accessible to more people than ever before. Our mission remains simple: help more people stay motivated to move.”
The announcements reflect Myzone’s broader strategy to evolve from a single-device hardware-first solution into a connected, software-first fitness ecosystem that supports operators, coaches and exercisers across and a wide range of training types.
All three innovations are scheduled to launch over the coming months. For more information about Myzone and the development of the world’s first Motivation Technology ecosystem, visit myzone.org. To register interest in Switch 2.0, visit: www.myzone.org/switch2
